#1 It’s Not Easy Being A (Kinky) Archivist!
Presented by KNOTbound

In 2016 we, the kinky founders of KNOTbound, began a journey unlike anything we had experienced before. The work of collecting historical BDSM information, personal stories, literature and private artefacts from around Australia for inclusion in the Australian BDSM Archives (ABA) has been incredibly challenging and interesting.  In this workshop we invite you to share in a rare glimpse of the drama, laughter, tears, joys, heartaches and learnings that have been behind the scenes of this 9-year journey.  We also invite participation in discussions about what we collect, how we manage the ABA and how we can do better. At the end we’ll talk briefly about plans for our 10-year ABA anniversary exhibition to be presented to the Adelaide community in partnership with AL&F in 2026.

#2 Improve your understanding of Consent with the Mindful Consent Model
Presented by Mistress Tokyo

Mistress Tokyo, as The Consent Consultant, presents her brand-new workshop on consent and her consent model “Mindful Consent“ (mindfulconsentmodel.com). We will define and describe consent, talk through what it looks like and doesn’t look like, and unpack how to negotiate it in a BDSM context. We will also talk red flags and harm minimisation strategies.

#3 Impact Play

Impact play is about far more than punishment, and as such, those interested in impact play come with many different reasons in mind. It can be a tool for such a variety of experiences – for some, it can be very sexual; while for others, it is purely about chasing that endorphin high. It can be an opportunity for a bonding experience, or even a part of protocol in a power exchange relationship. Impact play can signify devotion or can simply be enroute to an orgasm.

Impact play can include spanking, flogging, caning, paddling, strapping or any other device you choose to use as impact equipment. By the end of this class you should be able to comfortably handle impact equipment to successfully play out your fantasies. BJ will also show you how to use your impact equipment to elicit specific responses from your bottom, depending on what you desire to achieve. This class is open to all experience levels.
